The Living Handbook of Science Communication and Science Studies presents relevant concepts, topics, theories, and results related to the development of the science system to make them accessible to different audiences. Initiated by the Rhine Ruhr Center for Science Communication Research the new forum combines knowledge produced across the boundaries of science communication research, science studies, and cultural studies and functions like an open-access encyclopedia. Accompanied by popular texts and video blogs for the wider public, the Living Handbook actively engages public discourse to provide clear-cut information on how science is working.
